Specific Services

 

HCI and its staff are committed to working with high risk youth who meet the eligibility criteria by providing:

  • Case management
  • Establish or maintain school placement
  • Help finding safe, secure, and stable housing
  • Family conflict resolution & mediation
  • Intensive, goal-directed counseling
  • Outreach and referrals to other community supports
  • Parenting support and education

 
To ensure that the needs of youth are met in the least restrictive manner, services are:

  • Delivered in the community where youth are identified 
  • Short term – up to six months in duration 
  • Provided by licensed social workers
  • Individualized
  • Child-centered, family focused, strength based and work to normalize parental expectations & youth development
  • Focused on natural supports when possible
