For DHHS Sponsored Families

Families must be referred by Case Workers at the DHHS using a Department required referral form.  Only those individuals approved by DHHS are allowed on visitation premises.  In addition, all approved adult family members must agree to basic Visitation Guidelines and an introductory meeting with the Visitation Coordinator before visitations can begin. 

HCI provides visitation services in Kennebec, Knox, Lincoln, Sagadahoc, Somerset, and Waldo counties.

For Private Pay Families

Referrals are accepted from private pay families affected by separation or divorce, the Court system, or a Guardian Ad Litem.  Basic family information is required prior to arranging visitation.  Only approved individuals are allowed on visitation premises.  In addition, all approved adult family members must agree to basic Visitation Guidelines and an introductory meeting with the Visitation Coordinator before visitations can begin.
